Deuteronomy 32:This chapter is where the song that the LORD had Moses to write and teach before his departure from this earth. I would like to include few of the verses in this write up. Verses 39-41 says “See now that I, even I, am He, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive, I wound, and I heal: Neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven , And say, I live for ever. If I whet my glittering sword, And mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies. And will reward them that hate me.”

Do you know that these verses, as part of the song, were sang from generation to generation as a reminder of who He is? He says I am He, and there is none else beside Him. He is the only God. the Creator of heaven and earth. Jesus declared in His revelation to John the Apostle, “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last” (v 11) Verse 17 says, “And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right Hand upon me, saying unto me, “Fear not; I am the First and the last; I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for ever more, Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.”

I have said this in many of my writeups, that the more I read the Bible, the more I am intrigued by what our God does and the awesomeness of his glory in the way He makes Himself visible to humanity.. On Mount Sinai, He appeared in a burning bush to Moses and spoke to Him. Later on He appeared as thunder and lightning and fire on this mountain to all the children of Israel after they left Egypt. He also walked among the children of Israel as pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night guiding them through the wilderness. He came to physically live among us  by becoming a baby in the womb of Mary so that he could be like us in the flesh. In this way, he went through what we all go through everyday, suffering rejection, mocking, and hate and betrayal by one of His close associates. We could see how He demonstrated servanthood among His apostles by stooping down to wash their feet…We saw John the beloved resting on His chest and they called him the one whom Jesus loved. Now in Revelation, we see Him as described by John as follows, “And I turned to see the voice that spake with me, And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks. And in the midst of of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; And His feet like unto the brass, as the sound of many waters. And He had in His right hand seven stars; and out of His mouth went a sharp  twoedged sword, and His countenance was as the sun shining in his strength. (v 12 – 16).

He is God, what can He not do? We need to fear Him. The discussion in John 14 brought the statement “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come to the father but by me” He says further, “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also; and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him” What He is saying is “I am He” I am the Father. What we read in Deuteronomy is what our Lord Jesus is repeating here. Thus we should appreciate the fact that from the foundation of the world, He has been making Himself known to us so that we can reverence Him and worship Him. He alone deserves all our praises and all our honor.. The blueprints of our lives are in His hand. When we study the Word more, we will have more understanding of what His purpose is for our lives. My prayer is that we will live to fulfill our purpose upon this earth in Jesus Name, Amen. Remain Blessed!!!
