Numbers 29:1-40.. This chapter continued the various festivals the LORD commanded the children of Israel to observe throughout their generations. We mentioned Passover yesterday which was to mark the powerful deliverance of the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt and till today it is being observed. Then the Feast of Weeks when they harvest their Firstfruits, to acknowledge Him as the Giver and therefore they need to honor God with what comes first from all their produce. This chapter now continues with other feasts which are; The Festival of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, The Festival of Tabernacle (first day, tenth day and fifteenth day of Seventh Month respectively). The Festival of Tabernacle should be celebrated for seven days, with specific offerings for each day and none should be involved in any regular job. The conclusion of this chapter emphasized the continuance of what they have been commanded to do daily, weekly, and monthly,. Also the various offerings must also continue during the festivals.

Obedience is the key to living a life that is pleasing to the LORD. Since we already know that what we read is a pattern to what goes on in Heaven, it should stir up something in us to pray for the Grace not to fall by the wayside, that is, not to stray away from His presence.

Revelations 4:1-11 tells us God is worshiped day and night.  Let us read this “.Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter  And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne….And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold….And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come…..The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Therefore let us get into the habit of worshiping our God day and night and do not let the things of the world make us to lose focus. Remember you worship Him with everything you do. Worship is a state of the heart, and your heart must continuously be centered on His Holiness, Goodness, Kindness, Love and all the attributes of God and as the Holy Spirit brings them to you, you burst into Adoration and Praise to our God, “which was, and is, and is to come”, Amen. Shalom!!!
