Numbers 23:11-12 reads “And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether. And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
Balak called the children of Israel his enemies, but these people are God’s chosen people. This reminds me of Romans 8:33-39 which says “ Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:“For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Brothers and sisters, I included these verses into this write up today to encourage you that nobody has power over your soul except God. Once you have given God the total control of your life, you are His and He is your God and He will take care of you. He will not allow any enemy of yours to have control over you. He shows His love for us everyday by watching over us, protecting and providing for us. Look at the list of things that can never separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. We can see the demonstration of this love in the life of the children of Israel that Balaam wanted to curse but it was not possible.
Are you encouraged that your life is hidden with Christ in God? What are your trials or challenges this day? What are the battles confronting you that you seem they are not conquerable? What are your needs that you have been asking from God and they seem not forthcoming? Well I have good news for you. You don’t have to worry yourself at all because you are secured in His Hands. He has everything taken care of but He has time in His Hands to do everything that he plans for you. That is why Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. The LORD will continue to open us up to His Words in Jesus Name, Amen. Remain Blessed!!!
