Numbers 22:36-41..The angel had released Balaam to proceed on his journey and had commanded him to speak only what the LORD put into his mouth. The remaining chapter recorded how the meeting went with Balak who was happy to see him but was disappointed that he did not honor him the first time he sent messengers to him Verse 37 says, “And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honor? And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee, have I now any power at all to say anything? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.
Thus as we move on to the next chapter we will see all that transpired between the king and the prophet. But it is good to know that God overlooks our foolishness many times as in the case of Balaam. He knows how frail we are, but still uses us for His own glory. From the encounter He had with the angel, Balaam had been transformed . He told Balak that he did not have a choice in this matter. whatever the LORD told him that he would say. Our God is not a respecter of any person, what He says He would do He would do it. So also whatever He has told you, or the promises that His mouth has spoken, you can bank on them The only person that can postpone or delay it is you if you have the spirit of unbelief. We have learnt many things about God, and we can say that He is the TRUTH, He never changes. So hold on to him, every desire of your heart shall be given to you if you don’t faint. God bless.
