June 1, 2019

The work of Bezalel, and Aholiab and the people that God had touched to learn the skill came together to do all that were needed to be done for the tabernacle of the Lord. They were all recorded in Exodus 36, 37, 38, and 39. In chapter 40, the instruction reads as follows “Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:  “On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.  You shall put in it the ark of the Testimony, and partition off the ark with the veil.  You shall bring in the table and arrange the things that are to be set in order on it; and you shall bring in the lampstand and light its lamps.  You shall also set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the Testimony, and put up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.  Then you shall set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.  And you shall set the laver between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.  You shall set up the court all around, and hang up the screen at the court gate.(Exodus 40:1-8).

After the artisans have done their work, the Lord instructed Moses on how to assemble all that have been made step by step. God repeated Himself on the way to put them together in the order that He wanted it so that no mistakes will be made. God wanted Moses to set them up on the first day of the first month. Since time belongs to God, we can look back on our calendar and thank God that we have spent 5 months in the year 2019 and has brought us to the 6th month in peace and joy.  Today is the first day of June we are very grateful to God for giving us another opportunity to set things in order if we have not been doing so. Many people who saw the year with us did not plan not to be alive today. They did not have the power to keep themselves alive, because it is only in the hand of God. Therefore every day is an opportunity to examine ourselves and make conscious effort to make amends. Galatians 6:7-10 declares “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”  The scripture says, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to our biological family and spiritual family (members of the body of Christ). Being alive means there is still work for us to do. We should pray for the Lord’s leading to guide us into the assignment He has for us. If there is any disagreement between us and any member of our family, we should seize the opportunity of this new month to settle this. This is the meaning of setting things in order. If there is anything that we are supposed to be doing and we are lacking in them especially in our own churches, we should make effort to do them. One of the tools that our Lord Jesus laid down while on earth is Communication with His Father in prayers. I am setting this month to increase my prayer time with God. I need more of my one on one with God as early as possible before I get sidetracked with the demands of the day. I am also setting this month to reach out to the unchurched and I will like this to be continuous so as to reach as many souls as possible.  These are my desires and I know you have your own desires too. Psalm 37: 3-5 says “Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”

I pray that the goodness of God and the favor of God will be with us throughout this month. He shall cover us in the pool of His blood throughout this month. and we will be protected under His shadow so that No evil will come near our dwelling place, and no pestilence will visit us in Jesus Name. We will continue to enjoy His Mercies as we have done in the past five months in Jesus Name, Amen. His blessings that knows no measure will be released upon us this month in Jesus Name, Amen. Happy New Month
