“Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs of the first year, day by day continually.  One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight.  With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.  And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.  This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet you to speak with you. And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory.  So I will consecrate the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as priests.  I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God.  And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.(Exodus 29:38-46).

This section of daily offering of two rams to the Lord upon the altar, one ram in the morning and one in the evening could be likened to our prayers which we have to offer to Him daily, every morning and every night. God desires our fellowship with Him continually. If we understand what it means to be in the presence of God, we will be delighted to do this as often as possible. The scripture above says that this continual offering will make Him to be present with them and sanctify them by His glory. This shows the power of our prayers, both morning and at night, as we call upon Him, His presence is manifested and we become transformed spiritually. His Spirit that dwells in us increases daily as we commune with God in our prayers and in the reading of the Word. The more we dwell in His presence, the more we look like Him, talk like Him, and behave like Him, just as our children that dwell with us day by day take after our likeness.

How is your prayer life? Are you able to spend quality time in His presence? My advise to you is to make effort to spend time with Him on a daily basis, and watch what your experiences will be. I have not gotten to a higher height on this ladder, but the little effort I have made have changed me substantially. I need more of this fellowship. I want to be able to experience His glory as the prophets of old did, and the apostles, and even many men of God that I respect today. There are still some servants of God that can read your life like Jesus did to the woman at the well that declared “come and see the man that told me everything I ever did,” (John 4). If one asks those servants of God what is the secret of their gift,  I believe the answer will be that they spend meaning time daily with the Lord. We wonder today why we have so many problems and we are ensnared in the trap of the enemy, it is because we are not spending meaningful time in the Lord’s presence. Psalm 16;11 says “You will show me the path of life;  In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore ” Staying in the presence of God continually will take away worries and uncertainties, and replace them with joy, peace and proper guidance in all our endeavors.. I pray for you today that you will find time to seek the Lord in your daily activities, and the peace that passes man’s understanding shall be your portion in Jesus Name, Amen. Remain blessed.
