CHILD OF PURPOSE
Reading through the scriptures, I discovered that most women that were barren were made so for God’s own purpose. God must have a reason for doing so but what surprises me is that most of the children that eventually came forth from their womb are always exceptional children. Sarah had Isaac when she was 90 years old, Rebecca had twins (Esau and Jacob) after twenty years of barrenness, Rachel (Jacob’s wife) had Joseph after so many years of waiting for the Lord closed her womb. Manoah’s wife was also barren but later she had Samson, so also Hannah waited a long time before she had Samuel. In the New Testament, Elisabeth and Zachariah were barren until their old age and they were blessed with John the Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus. From the examples above, I can conclude that God has a purpose for delaying childbirth for those He had chosen to bring forth children of destiny, children that God had a special designated assignment for. This goes to confirm that God has plan for everyone of us and if any woman finds herself in this position, the consolation is in his words and it reads thus, “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren in thy land, the number of thy days I will fulfill.” (Exodus 23:25-26). His words are forever settled in heaven and even today i am happy to share with you the news I heard from Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) that such women have come forward to testify to the faithfulness of God.because they had their own breakthrough this year. Therefore let us continue to Trust God for any of our loved ones that are looking unto God for the blessing of the womb, to encourage them not to give up but to be expectant that the LORD has not forgotten them. I pray that among the blessings that God will give unto his children next year, the LORD will remember them too. I pray that the LORD will count us worthy to be used as a vessel of honor in this new year in Jesus Name, Amen. The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon us all. Amen.
