Hebrew 3:12-14..Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.

From the passage above, I get confirmation of what I started to do since I stumbled on this website and started to write with the help of the Holy Spirit “Daily Words of Wisdom”. It is important that we allow Holy Spirit to speak to us daily. The more we read the Word of God, the more our heart will listen to the Holy Spirit who will guide us into all truth. The truth we know will set us free into believing the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God. As your faith grows, then you will believe God more and even trust him and his word for what he is yet to do.

Can you imagine all the miracles God performed in Egypt in order to deliver his children from slavery, and yet many of them that witnessed these powerful act of God did not make it to the promised land because of unbelief? What could be more painful to God when the same people who saw the Red sea parted, manna released from heaven, water came from rock to quench their thirst, and yet denied the power of God to save them from Giants while they considered themselves as Grasshoppers. Unbelief heart is an evil heart as written in the scripture of today.Evil heart of unbelief cannot please God. Hebrew 11:6 states..”But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Therefore we need to exhort one another daily. We need people around us that would strengthen us to hold on to the word of God to the end because that is where the reward is. The end of a thing is better than the beginning thereof. We can easily fall out from our faith when things happen to us that can shake our faith. One should be very careful during that challenging period not to say things that negatively affect our faith. Remember how people like Job, Ruth, Hannah, Esther, Joseph, Daniel and so on handled their own affliction. The Bible is full of many lessons that can make us strong in the Lord. So do not allow your problem to create an evil heart of unbelief in you. Be steadfast and hold fast to your faith to the end.

Prayer: Lord I need you to help my unbelief when such situation arises, and uphold me and my family to the end.Amen
